With media coverage of “Booze Britain” and binge drinking, and debates around pub licensing, alcohol continues to be a hot topic of debate. But is this a real or moral panic? The Drinking and the City Session explored the benefits and drawbacks of alcohol use in culture and society and paid particular focus on the city of Manchester.
